Meh

I’ll delete this post later. Just a heads up. I’m adding Twitter Stars to my blogroll. I’m going to offer two types of links. For those who approve, I will create a virtual shrine to their Twitter greatness on this blog. If not, then just a link back to them on Twitter.

I’m also going to create a proper theme, one more suitable for Twitter Stars.

That probably made no sense but I’m beyond exhausted.

My first post on TwitterStars.com!

After months of agonizing over what to put on this site and whether or not to create my own blog, I have finally decided to take some ACTION! I think this is due to my complete lack of sleep and an intense day of Twittering.

For months Twitter has been my blog. If not for Twitter, I’m sure I would think blogging is something that other people do. I owe a lot of thanks for this moment becoming a reality. I’d like to thank the following Twitter Stars for their help and encouragement; ponzarelli and hbblonde. Both had sent me invites to Twitter long before I had the courage to write those famous first words, “I am eating a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.”

More recently though, my inspiration for registering the domain name came from jfritsche and Alexa. Their writing has made me see the potential in Twitter. Inspired by their 140 character gifts, I registered this domain name in August and worked hard to develop my own personal-Twitter style.

For the last 45 days I’ve been consulting off-line with jfritsche and Alexa… this must be a new version of WordPress, I’m watching the autosave feature activate… cool. I think it’s time to upgrade my clients… huh? Sorry.

jfritsche and Alexa have been kind enough to let me bounce ideas off of them. This makes me happy because they are the Twitter writers whose work I cherish the most. I actually have to give a lot of credit to Alexa for consistently telling me that I’m using Twitter wrong by making so many posts per hour. Some sort of violation of the Twitter social contract. I believe either the word “misuse” or “abuse” may have also been mentioned by her. I don’t remember. I’m tired. But I do remember Alexa telling me that if I want to write on and on and on, I should start a blog outside of Twitter.

The criteria for my Twitter timeline has always been based on two things, I follow because the people are brilliant Twitter writers or they lead interesting lives. I will follow anyone who follows me as a courtesy but if they ruin the feng shui of my timeline, they’re cut from the roster.

Within the last 48 hours, fulltimecasual and melissamaples have definitely impacted my decision to load WordPress and write this 1st post as I’m nodding off to sleep.

I can only hope that one day this blog will become the greatest Twitter blog in the history of the world just as my timeline has become the greatest Twitter timeline in the history of the world!
